He becomes so stricken with grief and shock, that he doesn't notice Sarasa appearing. Suddenly he feels the stench of blood in the air and finds a warehouse filled with decapitated bodies, included the corpse of his wife.
He wanders in the snow until he finds a village, which turns out to be deserted. If the man chooses to search for his wife, he leaves Sarasa's house to look for her. Sarasa reveals herself to be the Kubitori Barely conscious and much to his horror, he sees his decapitated body falling to the ground. Just as he proceeds to assault her, he feels a sharp pain cutting his neck. Much to his surprise, she's already waiting for him and encourages him to go further. If the man chooses to assault Sarasa, he goes to her room. As he hugs her back, he feels a sharp pain cutting his neck, revealing she was the Kubitori all along. Sarasa tells the man to stay with her forever and she hugs him. In truth, he's a murderer and came to the mountains to dispose of a corpse, until he became lost in the snowstorm. Sarasa tells him to drop the act, as she knows he has no wife in the first place. The next day he realizes the snowstorm is still ongoing, making him worried for his missing wife.
If the man chooses to slip into the bed, he spends the night at Sarasa's house. Sarasa convinces the man that he never had a wife At the same time, he finds about a dangerous youkai named Kubitori that wanders the mountains, looking for victims and to cut their necks.Įndings Bad End: False Sense of Security The woman, named Sarasa, offers to give him shelter from the snow. A man is separated from his wife during a snowstorm, until he's saved by an enigmatic woman with red eyes.
